MPG Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing Managed Service Provider in the Midlands is looking for an experienced Senior Field Support Engineer to join their team. If you're a hands-on engineer who enjoys variety, client interaction, and solving real-world IT challenges, this one's for you.

The Role

You'll be out on the road, working directly on client sites across the Midlands, delivering high-quality technical support and building strong relationships with a diverse SME client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level hands-on IT support across multiple client sites
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on-site
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Windows, Active Directory, and Azure environments
• Configure and maintain networking infrastructure
• Act as a trusted technical point of contact for clients
• Work closely with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues

What You'll Need

• 4+ years' experience in a similar IT support or field engineer role
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Microsoft 365 & Windows Administration
• Active Directory & Azure
• Networking (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
• Ability to manage your own time and workload independently
• Full clean drivers licence — essential
• Based in or within easy reach of the Midlands
